The President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, where he got acquainted with the work carried out in the equestrian units of the country's military and law enforcement agencies. The Turkmen leader also watched the races that took place here and the horses that are being prepared for participation in the international beauty contest for Akhal-Teke horses.
In the morning, the head of state arrived at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Center located in the foothills of the Kopetdag.
Here, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan on the preparations carried out by the equestrian units of the security agencies for the upcoming festive events in honor of significant dates.
After accepting the report, the head of state got acquainted with the work carried out at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, in particular, the equestrian groups of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service.
Addressing the heads of military and law enforcement agencies, the President ordered to comprehensively approach the issues of improving the work carried out among the personnel, providing servicemen with the necessary means for fruitful service.
The construction and commissioning of modern complexes for military and law enforcement structures, the modernization of existing administrative buildings, their equipping with advanced technologies - all these are indisputable evidence of the successful implementation of reforms to strengthen the foundations of Turkmenistan's independence.
On the initiative and under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, a lot of work is being done to develop the horse breeding industry, modernize its structures, increase the number of purebred Akhal-Teke horses, intensify international cooperation in this area, popularize various types of equestrian sports and national horse racing traditions.
In recent years, horses belonging to the military and law enforcement agencies have taken part in horse races organized in the capital and velayats and have won prizes. Seyis, engaged in the education of racehorses, make a worthy contribution to the enhancement of the glory of the Akhal-Teke horses.
Then there were competitions at a distance of a thousand meters among two-year-old horses, which are educated by the corresponding divisions of law enforcement agencies. The first to come to the finish line was a horse named Nyazik belonging to the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan.
Then nine selected three-year-old horses entered the distance of 1200 meters. The Akhal-Teke resident Bagabat of the Ministry of National Security was recognized as the winner.
While at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Center, the head of state examined the horses that will take part in the International Akhal-Teke Horses Beauty Contest.
For these purposes, the equestrian units of the law enforcement agencies prepared nine horses, distinguished by a rare color, the beauty of their exterior, which are descendants of the famous ancestral lines.
As already noted, at present, the military and law enforcement agencies give priority to equestrian sports, which includes caring for horses, increasing the elite livestock, their training and dressage.
Then the head of state, riding the horse Khanbeg, which is kept in the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, went to one of the stables.
The structure of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex includes a number of specialized structures, which makes it a key link in the development of domestic horse breeding. The complex, designed for the maintenance of 600 heads, includes an administrative building, a museum, a training base for riders, 12 stables, an indoor arena for training foals, etc.
In order to ensure favorable social and living conditions for horse breeders and specialists, the village of Aba Annaeva was built in the Kyarizek gengeshlik. In this beautiful village there is a secondary school for 240 children, a kindergarten for 160 children, a shop, a sports and children's playground. In a word, the most favorable conditions for fruitful work and comfortable rest have been created for specialists.
Thoughtful placement of the complex, its provision with advanced equipment, special vehicles, where everything is provided for breeding, care, training of tribal Akhal-Teke horses, diagnostics of their diseases and treatment, and thus, all the necessary conditions have been created to increase the number of "heavenly" horses.
The President got acquainted with the condition of the horses kept in the stable. Various types of equestrian equipment were presented here, including saddles and horseshoes. Then an officer of the patrol squadron of military unit No. 1001 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan named after M. Berdimuhamedov demonstrated the process of shoeing a horse.
The Turkmen seis laid the foundations of a high horse breeding culture, the fruits of which have gained fame unfading for centuries. Selecting the very best horses, they isolated them to prevent mixing with others in order to preserve the purebredness of the breed. As a result, unique Akhal-Teke horses appeared on the ancient Turkmen land, which had a significant impact on the emergence of other breeds.
The head of state visited a special site of the complex, where he got acquainted with the training process of the horses of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service, which are preparing to participate in show jumping competitions.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also visited the stable, which contains the breeding horses. Having familiarized himself with the peculiarities of caring for horses, the head of state ordered a responsible approach to this matter and addressed specific instructions to the relevant leaders.
Then the newborn foal was shown to the Turkmen leader. As reported, he is a descendant of Genjim and Gulnahala, whose lineage goes back to the famous Gelshikli.
The heads of the law enforcement agencies asked the head of state to give the foal a name.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov named the newborn foal Esger and tied the Ogulabat eje, an aladzha charm, woven by his mother around his neck.
Addressing the heads of the military and law enforcement agencies, the head of Turkmenistan noted that on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse and the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai, celebrated as a single significant date, from April 19 to 25 at the sculptures of the world famous horses Polatla, Yanardag, a sculptural composition "10 horses", erected in honor of the 10th anniversary of Independence, as well as a monument to the horseman with a dutar and alabai art readings and musical and song performances with the participation of figures of the national creative workshop.
The military personnel involved in creative work should also be involved in these events, the President noted and instructed to ensure their holding at a high organizational level.
Then the head of state, together with the heads of the law enforcement agencies, went to the construction site of the complex of buildings of the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri", which is at the final stage.
Here the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri" S. Berdimuhamedov reported on the state of affairs at the final stage of construction of the complex, where the adjacent territory is currently being improved.
The Vice Prime Minister said that the upcoming opening of a new complex on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse and the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabay will be a wonderful gift for all Turkmen citizens.
Focusing on the ongoing work, the head of state inquired about the features of the interior and exterior design of buildings, the improvement of the territory adjacent to the complex and its lighting system.
The main requirement is the use of high-quality finishing materials, the color palette of which must correspond to the national color, the President emphasized, ordering to keep under constant control the work carried out in this direction.
As the head of state noted, it is necessary to concentrate on solving issues of studying the history of this breed and identifying the most famous hereditary lines, which should be carried out with the direct participation of canine scientists and specialized specialists. Such an approach will increase the world fame of Alabay, who is a loyal and fearless protector and close friend, the Turkmen leader said, addressing specific instructions to the relevant leaders.
The main goal of the Association "T rkmen alaba itleri", created in May 2020, is the systematic increase in the number of Turkmen Alabai, bringing the breed to the international level based on the application of methods of folk selection and the achievements of the national canine school.
The President ordered to carefully prepare for the high-level opening ceremony of the complex of buildings of the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri", which will be held on the occasion of the National holiday of the Turkmen horse and the Holiday of the Turkmen alabay.
It is necessary to continue to make the necessary efforts to increase the effectiveness of work aimed at increasing the glory of Akhal-Teke horses and Turkmen Alabayev, the head of state noted.
