Today, in the Akhal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the international competition " ylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi" and the competition among representatives of creative professions.
The goal of the annual international beauty contest of Akhal-Teke horses, which is held annually in the country, is to stimulate the development of horse breeding traditions, to attract the attention of the world community to this breed.
Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Mejlis of Milli Gengesh, military and law enforcement agencies, khyakims of velayats and the city of Ashgabat, heads of ministries and sectoral departments, public organizations, and the media gathered on the square in front of the Akhal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan. Notable horse breeders also took part in the celebrations.
As part of the event, the best Akhal-Teke horses were donated to the President of Turkmenistan on behalf of the country's horse breeders as a sign of gratitude for the active attention to their work, as well as in honor of the National holiday of the Turkmen horse. The magnificent horses are asked to receive the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri" Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
One by one, the horses are brought to the site from each velayat of the country and the capital. Leaders of all regions, elders and representatives of the younger generation also come out.
So, on behalf of the workers of the Akhal velayat, a beautiful horse Oguzkent was donated, from the Balkan velayat - Deňiz, the Dashoguz velayat - Gyrbedew, the Lebap velayat - K tendag, the Mary velayat - Murgap, and from the city of Ashgabat - Akş her.
Another gift, a horse named Be ikdag, was donated on behalf of the military and law enforcement agencies. On behalf of all horse breeders of the country, the Turkmen leader was presented with a magnificent dun horse Hankerwen, born in 2018, a descendant of Hanbegler and Okgyz.
Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri" Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to the elders of the velayats participating in the celebrations, all horse breeders who donated magnificent Akhal-Teke horses to the President of Turkmenistan.
Following the good tradition laid down by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, S. Berdimuhamedov tied a traditional amulet - "aladzha" woven by his grandmother, Ogulabat Ene, around the neck of a horse named Hankerwen, donated to the head of state from the country's horse breeders.
Then, riding a horse on a treadmill, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association "T rkmen alaba itleri" Serdar Berdimuhamedov tested the horse in different types of gait.
Further, the presenter announced the beginning of the final round of the International Beauty Contest among Akhal-Teke horses. Ten best representatives of the Akhal-Teke breed selected at the preliminary stages are taken to the observation deck.
Each of them was twice shown before the judges. The first time without equipment, and the second time - in a full set of horse ornaments, in a carpet blanket and under a saddle.
In accordance with the rules of the competition, all the horses were presented in order to the jury and to the audience: name, age, pedigree, owner. The horses reached the final, the pedigree of which goes back to the well-known breeding lines.
Numerous admirers of "heavenly" horses were able to appreciate the striking exterior of the descendants of the outstanding Akhal-Teke horses, who laid the main branches in the selection of this breed.

Then, the names of the winners of the creative competition for the artistic embodiment of the image of the Turkmen horse in works of fine and decorative applied art, in publishing products, photographs and on TV channels, announced among artists, sculptors, carpet weavers, photographers, publishing workers, designers, cameramen, were announced here. The main idea of the competition is to demonstrate the role of this beautiful and intelligent creature in the life of the Turkmen people.
The best works submitted for the competition were selected in accordance with the nominations - the most skillful carpet, the most beautiful piece of jewelry, the best pictorial and sculptural image of a horse, as well as publishing products, photographs and television stories.
On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TV sets “Tolkun” and corresponding certificates were presented to the following winners: specialist in the production and quality of the Ashgabat enterprise of artistic carpet weaving G. Orazova - for the most elegant carpet work depicting the image of the Turkmen horse “Behişdi bedew”; E. Annaberdiyeva, teacher of drawing and drawing at the specialized secondary school No. 42 of the city of Ashgabat, for the horse decoration “Garlawa - At şa -sep toplumy”; 5th year student of the "Painting" department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan Sh. Orazlyev for the best painting "T rkmen to y".
Also, prizes from the head of state were awarded to the teacher of the "Sculpture" department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan M. The winners of the competition expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for such a high assessment of their creativity.
Then the decision of the authoritative panel of judges of the international competition " ylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi" was announced.
The most beautiful Akhal-Teke horse of 2021 was declared the bay horse A gytly of the Akhal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan. The magnificent horse, born in 2015, is the descendant of Ary and Altynbaş.
Seyis Chary Balliev, who brought up the winner of the international competition, was awarded the main prize on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov - the keys to the Lexus car, a challenge cup and a diploma.
The final part of the celebrations was performances by the masters of the arts.
