Here, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber Serdar Berdimuhamedov brought the leader of the nation a horse named Khankerven, born in 2018, presented to him on behalf of all horse breeders of the country on the day of celebrations on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse and the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabay, celebrated on the last Sunday April, and also presented the rider's festive outfit.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke about the meaning of the name of the stallion Khankerven, which has a deep significance. It means holiness, the continuation of life. Like a string of caravans that passed through our lands many centuries ago, let the wonderful traditions of the people be passed on, linking times and generations.
The leader of the nation noted that it would be right if Serdar Berdimuhamedov became the owner of this stallion, as the head of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and the International Association “Turkmen Alabai”, and expressed confidence that every effort would be made to further popularize our “paradise” horses in the world.
With the words: “Let the horse's legs be strong, the croup is powerful, and he himself is glorified,” the head of state expressed his best wishes and conveyed the magnificent horse to Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Then the President of Turkmenistan saddled a horse named Khanbeg, and Serdar Berdimuhamedov - a horse named Shapolat. Leading the horses to the race track, they made a horse ride.
For millennia, graceful, frisky "heavenly" horses, nurtured by the labor of our ancestors, are national pride and glory, the adornment of all celebrations. Being the property of the Turkmen people, they are surrounded by special attention and care of the state.
Today, large-scale projects are being implemented in the country aimed at developing the horse breeding industry, increasing the world fame of Akhal-Teke horses. Particular attention is paid to the construction of modern equestrian complexes designed for the scientific study of the Akhal-Teke breed, improving the work in the horse breeding industry.
During the horseback ride, the President of Turkmenistan and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed the progress in fulfilling the tasks defined in the Program of the country's socio-economic development, measures taken in this direction, as well as other current issues.
